奴隶贸易与北美奴隶族裔来源略论

[内容提要] 殖民地时期北美大陆的黑人奴隶主要来源于西非沿海地区，但族裔成分相当复杂，并且有着明显的时空变化，特别是以下族裔尤其应该注意，即塞内加尔与塞拉利昂之间的沃尔夫人和曼丁哥人、迎风带和黄金海岸的阿坎人、尼日利亚与贝宁之间的约鲁巴人、尼日利亚中南部的的伊葛博人、刚果和安哥拉地区的克孔哥人和巴孔哥人等等。

The Ethnic Roots of Colonial American Slaves’’: an overview
[Abstract]In the colonial period, black slaves in North America mainly came from the coastal areas of Western Africa, but their ethnical composition was rather complex, obviously changing with times and spaces. Among those ethnic groups, Wolof and Mandingo between Senegal and Sierra Leone, Akan in the windward Western Africa and Gold Cost, Yoruba between Nigeria and Benin, Igbo in the southern parts of Nigeria, and Kikongo and Bakongo in Congo and Angola especially deserve attention.
